IT security audits and vulnerability assessments

A structured review of your infrastructure, accounts, endpoints, network, and practices against what attackers actually exploit, with a prioritized report you can act on and hand to insurers, auditors, or your board.

An audit answers the question every owner eventually asks: how exposed are we, really? We review identity and access, endpoints, network, email, backups, remote access, and policies, test what can be tested, and score each area.

The deliverable is a plain-language report with findings ranked by risk, the fix for each, and the order to do them in. Many clients use it to satisfy cyber insurance questionnaires or a customer's vendor security review.

What is included

  • Identity and access review, including MFA coverage and stale accounts
  • Endpoint and patch status review
  • External and internal network exposure check
  • Email authentication and phishing resilience review
  • Backup and recovery verification
  • Written report with prioritized remediation plan

Common questions

Is this a penetration test?
It is broader. A penetration test tries to break in one way; an audit reviews everything that could let someone in and how you would recover. We include targeted testing where it adds value.
How long does it take?
Most small business audits take one to two weeks, including on-site time and the written report.
