Services / Email Migration
Switching between Google Workspace and Microsoft 365, or leaving an old mail host or server, is easy to start and easy to get wrong. We plan the move, copy everything across, and switch over at a time that does not interrupt your team.
Most email migrations fail in the details, not the copying. A scanner that emails scans to a person, a website contact form, a CRM that sends from your domain, a phone that approves sign-ins, a shared mailbox nobody remembered, a former employee whose mail must be kept: these are what break on cutover day. We find them during planning, before anything moves.
The work follows the same order every time. We review your current setup and agree a cutover date. We set up the new system and create the accounts and shared mailboxes. We copy email, calendars, and contacts ahead of time, then run a final sync at cutover so nothing is missed. We update your domain's mail records so new mail goes to the new system, reconnect the systems that send mail for you, help each person sign in on their computer and phone, and check mail flow and mailboxes with you afterward.
Moving files is part of the same project when it applies: Google Drive to OneDrive and SharePoint, or the other way. We keep folder structure and sharing wherever the platforms allow it, and tell you plainly where they do not.
Moving from Microsoft 365 to Google Workspace has one consequence worth knowing early: Google Workspace does not include Word, Excel, or PowerPoint. Your team can use Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides, or you can buy a separate Microsoft Office license, available as a one-time purchase or a monthly subscription. We explain the options during planning so the choice is made before cutover, not after.
No. Mail keeps flowing during the move. We copy your existing messages ahead of time and run a final sync at cutover, and the switch is scheduled for an evening or weekend so work is not interrupted.
Yes, in both directions. We also move businesses off older hosting-company mailboxes and on-premises mail servers.
They will once they are updated. Anything that sends or receives email for you has to be pointed at the new system, so we list those during planning and reconnect each one at cutover.
Not with Google Workspace alone. Your team can use Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides, or you can buy a separate Microsoft Office license, as a one-time purchase or a monthly subscription. We cover this before the move.
It depends on the number of mailboxes, how much data each holds, and whether files are moving too. We send a written estimate before any work starts, and any change to the scope is confirmed with you first. Subscription and license fees are billed separately by the provider.
Yes. Most of the work can be done remotely, and we come on-site across Northern Colorado when that is the better way to get your team signed in and working.
